The Besto 275 Newton Twin Chamber is an automatically operated lifejacket designed in accordance with the SOLAS and marine Equipment Directive life saving appliance requirements for inflatable lifejackets and performance requirements of CE EN 275 Newton lifejackets.
The lifejacket is fitted with a permanently attached EN1095 (BS EN 12401) deck safety harness. Full performance is achieved by full inflation of one or both chambers either by the automatic or manual initation of the operating mechanism or by use of the oral tube facility.
This lifejacket is approved by Fleetwood Nautical Test House (UKASNo.1559 Notified Body No. 0514). The International Maritime Organization Life Saving Appliances (LSA)Code in Accordance with IMO resolution A689(17) as amended by Resolution MSC 81(70), MSC 200(80) & MSC 226(82)
The Besto Offshore Twin Chamber is a lifejacket designed for use on open sea and in all weather conditions:

» when wearing heavy protective waterproof clothes.
» The jacket remains safe and will rotate the body so that the airways are clear of the water.
